Making hair mineral testing accessible in eligible US states
At HTMA Hair Test, we believe hair mineral testing shouldn't require a clinic visit or a referral. We're on a mission to make Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis accessible and affordable for customers in eligible US states.
Samples are analyzed by Trace Elements, Inc. in Addison, Texas, a CLIA-certified laboratory (per the laboratory) using ICP-Mass Spectrometry. HTMA measures the concentration of selected elements in the hair specimen you submit, reported against the laboratory's reference intervals. It is an educational test, not a diagnostic one.
Real Health Diagnostics operates independent functional health testing storefronts, not licensed medical clinics. HTMA laboratory analysis is performed by Trace Elements, Inc. Our FDN-P services provide education and wellness support; FDN-P is a certification, not a license to practice medicine. These services do not diagnose or treat disease and do not replace care from a licensed healthcare professional. Our practitioner is Madison Ordway, FDN-P.

HTMA measures the concentration of selected elements in the hair specimen you submit, reported against the laboratory's reference intervals. Hair reflects elements incorporated into hair as it grew (scalp-near hair roughly covers the past few months of growth) and can be affected by external contamination, hair treatments and collection conditions.
Your laboratory report shows a laboratory panel of nutrient minerals and toxic metals:
A result outside the reference interval is not a diagnosis of deficiency or toxicity. Hair testing does not replace appropriate medical assessment or conventional tests such as blood work.
