About Madison

Madison Ordway is a Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner (FDN-P) and the practitioner reviewing HTMA Hair Test's hair tissue mineral analysis content. She focuses on using HTMA as an educational tool to help eligible US customers understand the mineral patterns, toxic-metal results and copper levels on their hair test — and to translate those results into practical food and lifestyle suggestions to discuss with their healthcare provider.

Her approach is rooted in functional nutrition. She looks at the hair test as a whole — the measured levels and the ratios calculated from them — alongside the diet, lifestyle and history a client chooses to share. As an FDN-P, she is trained to review functional lab data like HTMA and to offer educational nutrition and lifestyle suggestions to discuss with your healthcare provider. She does not diagnose, treat or prescribe.

Madison is especially focused on copper balance — one of the most common and most misunderstood reasons people seek out HTMA — and on making mineral testing approachable for everyday Americans rather than something reserved for clinics.

What is an FDN-P?

FDN-P stands for Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner. It is a certification — not a license to practice medicine, and not a regulated healthcare registration. An FDN-P is trained to use functional lab assessments such as hair tissue mineral analysis as an educational tool, and to coach clients on diet, rest, exercise and stress reduction. Any supplement ideas are educational, for adults, and to discuss with a licensed healthcare professional. An FDN-P provides education and wellness coaching and does not diagnose or treat disease, and the certification does not make a test or service eligible for insurance or health spending account reimbursement.

Real Health Diagnostics operates independent functional health testing storefronts, not licensed medical clinics. HTMA laboratory analysis is performed by Trace Elements, Inc. Our FDN-P services provide education and wellness support; FDN-P is a certification, not a license to practice medicine. These services do not diagnose or treat disease and do not replace care from a licensed healthcare professional.
